Volkswagon's latest vehicle, the Routan, was created with the family in mind - and in the spirit of spreading the word, VW gave us a goodie bag to give away to one lucky reader!

From its spacious interior to the ample amount of in-car technology, the Routan offers a wide assortment of features to have the whole family enjoying the ride. Check out the VW Routan site for specs, dealers, and a 360 view of the interior as well as the exterior.

They also have a fun widget called the Babymaker 3000. Did they get your real children's features right?

Not only does it look great, but has some really wonderful features. One of my favorites of the design are the remote control doors. We have almost 93,000 miles on our mini-van and WOW, this VW one seems really awesome! When we get ready to buy new, will definitely look at this one.

truly I love it and love the volkswagon brand- grew up with the bug burning my feet and learned to drive stick on it, and rebuilt one, so I love volkswagon..very reliable and durable- oh and the feet thing is true but a great memory and living where it was cold just warmed up my tootsies most of the time

Being a mom of 5 boys, my choices in vehicles is basically limited to mini vans. I really think that Volkswagen made a great looking vehicle. It has kind of a sporty look to it.

A HECK OF LOT DIFFERENT VAN THEN OLD VW BUS

I think this is a very good looking vehicle

Wasn't VW about a half-CENTURY ahead of the time with the concept of their Microbus? It's a shame that they come back to the form by rebadging a Chrysler T&C.. but then again, there is something to be said for a properly powered vehicle, which no one could accuse the 'Bus of being. How 'bout referring to the Routan as VW's *latest* minivan?

I really love the color. This is a good looking van...mini-van.

I don't care if they make fun of me in my mini-van. I have lots of room and if I get caught in a snowstorm I have an instant shelter.

The word "minivan" usually strikes fear in the eyes of most men and reluctance in women. The overly square vehicles typically scream "practical" and "stodgy," intended for parents lugging loads of parenting junk. However, the new Volkswagon Routan breaks the stereotype of the poundcake-shaped bohemeths and is actually quite stylish...while still practical for those of us that need to lug around loads of parenting junk. As a new mom, I'd love to own one of these!

I won't personally drive a minivan but I like riding in them and this looks like a nice one.

Having owned one of the orginal mini vans, 1964 and a 1973 VW buses and the latest one is a 1988 Plymouth Voyager, they all come up short in comparison to the new VW mini van. Does it make my wife and I want to have another baby? No, but we would happy to haul grandkids and others in one of these.

I love the VW Routan and with all those features you could really enjoy those classic roadtrips we use to take when they still had a lot more VW Minibuses on the road. The minivan has certainly come a long way from what it was. As a consumer and a parent I applaude VW for their attention to all the safety features both inside and outside of this vehicle. But comfort is only second to safety and performance. This is really a car for a growing family or a dedicated soccer mom. Considering the size gas mileage isn't too bad either.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the new Routan a 9.5 Why 9.5? Because VW would be the first to tell you there is always room for improvement and innovation.

I can't imagine life without my minivan. It just makes taking 3 kids around so much easier, mostly with those extra friends. This vehicle looks great. Lots of the bells and whistles that I would love to have with my next van.

I have a long history with VW, starting with a VW bug in college, later a Rabbit. I love their products, I will look at this minivan when I am ready to look for a new car.

I have three children and love my minivan. The Routan looks very nice. If I was in the market for a new minivan, I'd give it consideration.

When I think about the first Volkswagon minivan, I remember the cool painted "hippie" vans that had "flower power" and designs all over. Let's not forget all the long hair and headbands. Groovy van!

This minivan is a huge improvement to the old VW van I remember from the 70's.

I like the way it looks. There's lots of room inside for kids and groceries.

This looks like the perfect size for a frowing family or one that just needs plenty of room. It's really classy looking.

Great vehicle.

I just traded in my much beloved 2002 Volkswagon Beetle TDI for a 2009 Routan SEL 4.0. I'm adopting two children and just had to have the extra room. Getting a baby and a toddler in and out of the back seat of the bug was exhausting, no matter how much I loved the car itself. Having two electric side doors and a higher profile to the seats is wonderful for me. I don't have to set everything down to open the door. I can just hit the button on my keychain and the door opens with my precious cargo in my arms. No more bending over or climbing in to get them buckled in safely in their car seats. My son likes the way the seats are up higher so he can see out the windows better. He chatters away about everything he can see as we drive. It's a whole new world to him. He also squealed in delight over the new rear DVD system. He can watch movies quietly while I run my errands. He would fuss before because he would get so tired of being confined to his seat with nothing to do. So far, my life is much easier because of it and I love everything about my new Routan. Try it for yourself, see what you think. I think you'll be surprised.

epitomizes all the good of the phrase "German Engineering." The Routan minivan looks to be a case where form follows function. It's a minivan designed to do what minivans actually do -- haul the kids and dogs and assorted parent-stuff from one place to another. The safety features are awesome.

I like the minivan's sleek lines and it is very spacious. I like the new vw minivan, but my first love is my dad's old 1977 VW limited edition Super Beetle in neon orange with black colored bumpers and blabk colored trim.

I think its cute! doesn't have the soccer mom feel but still has the space and safety!

This looks like those new types of low to the ground SUV's. And it doesn't really look distinctively volkswagon. If I were in the market for a new car, I might give it a look though. Mainly because the Volkswagon name is known to make good, reliable cars.

My friends had an early VW minivan. It was pretty open and had lots of ways to fold or connect things in novel ways. They loved it.

I have a old restored 1970 VW Van which I restored all by myself. I admit that VW and I have had a long standing affair! I love the new VW Van as it has the great look of VW with so many fun and useful features. I think that Brooke Shields does such a good job in the commercials and they always make me laugh. hummm, everything is kinda foggy!!!!! i remember the exhost filled it a lot if you left rear windows open!!! got great gas mileage! you could fill it with your friends, lots of junk food, smoke those funny little things and have fun...

I think it is a great concept. I'm glad Volkswagon has decided to make a Minivan with families in mind.

I have always said that I would not be the guy with the mini-van, and the clown birthday parties, and the play dates. Since having kids, however that has changed. With the reliability of VW and the space a mini van has, I might just go looking at one next time I need a vehicle.

The new Volkswagon adds the Hip factor to the term "mini-van." Love it and crack up at the ads.

I think it looks quite roomy. With two in carseats we are a bit cramped in our Kia. The Routan is something that we are going to look into.

I was expecting to see the Old VW Surfer/Hippie Vans of yesteryear. I still feel nostalgic when I see one parked at a beach! LOL! I am not sure how I feel about this minivan.
