Making coffee filter jellyfish is a great way to introduce children to sealife, illustrate the letter J or simply have fun with an easy craft.

Craft Supplies:
- Water-based markers
- Coffee filters
- Spray bottle filled with clean water
- Paper cup
- Thread and large needle
- Streamers
- Tape
Step 1: Spread out coffee filter and color with markers.
Step 2: Spray colored filter with water and set aside to dry. Colors will blur and blend.
Step 3: Tape streamers to open rim of paper cup.
Step 4: Turn cup upside down with streamers hanging down like jellyfish tentacles; Use needle to pull thread through middle of filter and bottom of cup. Poke through cup – up and down to create loop securing the filter to the bottom of the cup. Tie at top.
