Long bio:

I'm the mother of a college sophomore. My husband and I live in Hawaii. I would describe myself as a pretty traditional and practical parent, although I support alternative educational methods. Our child went to herb camp every summer and quit soccer after one season. Maybe her childhood wasn't that traditional.

I like learning new things and am one of those annoying "life is a journey" people.
