I am a work-at-home wife to my husband of 2 years, and mother to our 4 year-old pug, Gizmo. We are hoping to have our own children soon, but for now, we are infertility warriors raising our Pug and spoiling our nieces and nephews. Though they are not our own kids, our Pug and our little love bug nieces and nephews have taught us a ton about being parents - how to handle children when they puke in public (and the evil looks from onlookers), Veggie Tales & the Wiggles, being in the moment and how being a parent does not negate the other roles we play in life, but teaches us the importance of balance (and how this often times means that it is okay to make a to do list, and not have everything on crossed off). I teach Human Resources and Management courses and co-operate a website that provides jobs for moms to work-from-home and resources for couples going through infertility, www.IncMoms.com - check it out and pass it on!   My husband and I recently moved to Colorado from Southern California, and are adjusting to our new way of life. We love it here, though we miss our loved ones, California sunshine, the smell of the beach air, and our beloved In-N-Out Burger with Neapolitan milkshakes!
