I have been blessed with two beautiful baby daughters, but the path to fatherhood, for me anyway, was not always easy. Thank goodness I had the help of some wonderful visual aids in the form of two magnificent books: "Safe Baby Handling Tips," and "Safe Pregnancy Tips."
Some of you may already have read my posts over at Wisebread, so you'll know quite often I inject a little humor into the proceedings; this is one of those times.
However, I would like to point out that although these books are clearly humorous and offer the most blatant advice, they do serve a purpose; they are terrific BABY SHOWER gifts.
That's right, most of the time dads feel left out at these occasions. But a little book or two like this is a great way to include some of the more nervous and fearful dads who think the first year of fatherhood is a massive hill to climb.
It's great to have a laugh at what the coming months will bring, and is a great conversation starter, too. I have shown only a fraction of the images found in these hilarious coffee table books. Both books can be found at trusted site Amazon, through the links below.
