Sometimes we don't think twice about the toys and products in our homes. This morning's list is all about selecting products that are safe, green, and appropriate.
- Is your carseat expired? Carseats have an expiration date, and should also be replaced after an accident, even if you can't see damage with your eyes. (@ MOMformation)
- Baby Cheapskate has a few picks for carseats at BabyCenter (they're having their annual winter sale!)
- Custom SIGG Bottles. Named "The World's Toughest Water Bottle" they're also cute, stylish, and environmentally friendly. These are so much better than throwing away plastic water bottles after one use. (@ Tree Hugging Family)
- ESRB - What every parent needs to know. If you have a video game system in your home, you should know what the ratings mean so you can make educated decisions on what games are age appropriate. (@ Mommy Needs Coffee)
- Anything you can do, I can do better. Why is it that it's more socially acceptable for girls to like "boy toys" and not the other way around? Something as simple as getting a toy kitchen for a boy stirs up some controversy. (@ Everyday Life)
My Morning Laugh
- The Perfect Present. Karen explains she's a better giver to some than others. (@ Chicago Moms Blog)
