Over here in the UK they are
Submitted by Delle on February 8, 2008 - 09:25.
Over here in the UK they are actually conducting a large scale study of peanut allergy. Of course, we won't have the results for a few years, which will be rather too late for my current child, but still good to know people are actually looking into it.
My son eats pretty much anything. Peanuts are only occasional and actually happened by accident. He did initially react to both strawberries and eggs (and we do have a family history of atopic illness and food allergy), but, at 15 months, he is now fine with both these things.
