Sherry - You know I heart you, but I have to disagree.

I love Kate and the whole Gosselin gang. And I still will, product placement or otherwise. Lets face it, no one truly WANTS a camera crew following you around and capturing your worst mothering moments. Oh, I am sure in the first few days after they were approached, they were flattered and it was exciting and new. But once those hate letters started rolling in (and she gets them and reads them) I bet the whole thing started to get old quickly.

But the fact is, they are supporting a family of 10 on one income. Their 15 minutes of fame wont last forever. Once the kids are all off at school all day and everyone is potty trained and able to dress themselves, there wont be a whole lot left to watch. And the program will end, and the endorsements will dry up, and they will still have to feed, clothe and educate 8 kids. EIGHT college funds. EIGHT. I am losing sleep over it for them.

Anyway, I think Kate and Jon are very wisely making the most of their run and socking money away for the future. I know I would.
