be careful when you represent the entire male species, though. it's a dangerous presumption. for example, i wear makeup because it makes me feel more like a woman. my husband likes and appreciates the effort i take, (albeit a minimally one time wise,) and we both win. yay! you however, would not enjoy my efforts because it just isn't your "bag." but you aren't every member of the male species.

some men hunt to feel in touch with their masculine side. some women find the death of animals disgusting and horrific. these men wouldn't want to bring home an elk to their peta wives. but other women would love the musky smell of dead elk on their husband's clothes.

all i'm saying is: to each his own. but my best girlfriend is on your side. she hates wearing makeup, and really hates taking the stuff off...yet she spends time and money getting manicures, which i find ridiculous. are any of us wrong?

i know, i know. manicures are completely weird!
