I loooved my older sister's cabbage patch dolls. I never got one, but she had two that we played with (a bummer being the younger sister). I remember the one I played with: Rory Emeria. Very strange name for a boy doll. We got up at like six in the morning to go and get him for my sister for Christmas. It was all very official with the birth certificate and everything. I'm sure my eyes were as big as saucers!

My sister has a daugher now and I bought her a newborn cabbage patch the day she was born. I was debating between two dolls (one was super cute, but I liked the other one's name better) so I decided to check the birth dates. Low and behold - one of them had the EXACT birth date of my sister's little girl! It was too good to be true! My sister freaked out when I gave it to her and little Ava.

I never had a Cabbage Patch Kid, but I remember how crazy everyone was to have one. I'd love to give one to my niece. I have two teenage boys, so I never got to do the "Doll Thing".

I loved loved loved my Cabbage Patch Kid dolls when I was little. My younger sister had one that looked a lot like this 25th anniversary one! I have a daughter now myself, who is 6 months old. She is the sweetest baby you've ever met; she has a great little personality, and a great big smile (with dimples!), and blue eyes just like this Cabbage Patch. I would just love for her to have and love a Cabbage Patch doll of her own.

I will never forget when Cabbage Patch Kids hit the scene because I made quite a scene myself, begging my parents to buy one for me. I'm talking screaming and kicking my feet on their bedroom floor.
